Gratitude post #1

Blogging again... since the family is spreading across the country.

I start by counting my blessings. I am so grateful.

1. For the Father's love, and for the knowledge that we are in the palm of His hand.

2. For the love that Tom and I have for each other. For love that is growing even after all these years.

3. For Greta Renee's arrival last Wed. For being at her birth with the other girls - it was beyond special. It was monumental.

4. For having a big family party that very night at the Ht. home. Heather is such a people person ... she wanted dinner that night with the whole family.

5. For Rich carrying Heather down the stairs so she could be with all of us.

6. For getting to take Friday off. For getting to take care of the Ht. children... all four of them

7. For getting to hold Greta for three hours in the morning, and another 3 hours in the afternoon while Heather slept. Newborns can't be held too much, can they?

8. For having another it family dinner on Friday night at the Ht. home. Last all-the-f amily-together time before the M.s leave.

9. For Joe & Evie bringing balloons for the cousins to play with and pop!

10. For getting to watch the M. kiddos on Saturday. nap time, play time, bath time, dinner, bed time prayers. Special lovey time with these two.

11. For being able to fix coca cola chicken for E & K2. They loved it... just like their mom and aunties did when they were young.

12. For safe travel with my man. Home is with him... wherever we may be.
