Easter Incarnation – Part 2

Heather and I are making an Easter banner. Similar to an advent calendar this will be a way to prepare for the most important holiday on the calendar and to teach the little ones. Heather and I decided to make the banner now, rather than waiting until next year. We also are thinking that we will prepare our hearts and observe Lent next year with some kind of devotional.

So we started with making a plan and pulling out the felt to check to see if we had all the right colors. Then we started making the symbols while the boys were napping.

Before we were done, the boys woke up. Keegan was happy to play on the floor, but Xander wanted to help out…. We worked on some attitude issues when he had problems with the glue! I love little children – they are so transparent! Aren’t we glad that Jesus has paid the penalty for all our sins – and has graciously filled us with His spirit so we can overcome those bad attitudes.

We need a second session to finish the banner. So you will all have to wait to see the finished product.
