Visiting Omama, Opapa and Auntie Ev in Virginia

We had a great time in Virginia – though traveling with a 2 year old and a seven month old is a challenge. One of the interesting things this trip is the amount that Xander remembered from past trips. We always arrive at Reagan at about 4 and so go over to eat at the Fish Market. Everyone behaved well – Omama loving to interact with Xander,

Keegan was smiling and happy even after the long flight, And Auntie Ev was happy to see us as well. When we arrived at Omama and Opapa’s house Xander actually remembered it – he remembered the turtle that lights up, and the box of toys in the dining room.

Here are Heather and the boys in front of the house.

Keegan is such a smiler!
On Saturday morning we went to Mt. Vernon. I think the boys were a little young, but we ladies had a great time. Here is the crew posing with the Washington family. Xander was fascinated with our first President and wanted to shake (or hold) his hand.

And Evie in the gardens.

On Monday we went to the Zoo. Everyones favorite exhibit was the otters. Here Auntie Ev is holding Xander up to the window where the otters are swimming right at us and doing summersaults!
