“If all Jesus had done was to die on the cross,
we could never be saved.
Salvation comes by grace alone in Christ alone,
but it does not come through the cross alone…
In the message of salvation,
the cross is inseparably joined to the empty tomb.

The heart of the gospel is never the cross alone,
but always the cross pulls the empty tomb.
Jesus saves both by his vicarious crucifixion and by his victorious resurrection."
